Another way to get involved with Arcadiana, the blog of the European Association for the Study of Literature, Culture and the Environment (EASLCE), is by joining our volunteer editorial team.

We are currently opening five new positions to expand our activities and reach:

  • 3 Blog Editors
  • 2 Social Media Editors (Instagram and X/Twitter)

Blog Editors (3 positions)

Blog Editors help shape the direction of Arcadiana and ensure the publication of engaging, accessible, and diverse content in the environmental humanities.

Main responsibilities:

  • Liaise with authors, departments, and networks to expand the blog’s reach
  • Assess pitches and select pieces for publication
  • Copy-edit and proofread submissions for clarity and style
  • Prepare and publish posts on WordPress
  • Coordinate with EASLCE officers and event organisers to promote activities

Profile:

We welcome master students, PhD students, ECRs, and independent researchers interested in promoting the environmental humanities beyond academia.

Previous editorial experience, a good eye for detail, and a collaborative attitude are appreciated but not required.

Knowledge of WordPress and other languages beyond English is a plus.

Social Media Editors (2 positions)
