The Centro Studi Città e Territorio, in collaboration with the municipality of Grumello del Monte (Bg-Italy), presents “Landscapes of Wine in Literature and Cinema”, an international interdisciplinary conference. The conference will be structured in different sessions and open to scholars specialized in cinema, Italian literature (both in standard Italian and in dialects), Latin and Greek literature, or possibly other foreign language literatures, and interested, within their contexts, in the knowledge, the protection and the valorization of landscape heritage.

The conference will be held on June 6, 7, and 8, 2016. The opening lecture will be held by Carlo Tosco (Professor of History of Architecture at Politecnico di Torino, consultant for the nomination of wine-landscapes of Piemonte to the World Heritage List UNESCO, and author, among others, of the book Petrarca: paesaggi, città, architetture).
