EASLCE aims to provide an international forum for the promotion of research and education in the fields of literary, cultural and environmental studies.

By fostering a vibrant community of scholars, educators, and artists from diverse cultural and disciplinary backgrounds, we seek to facilitate both interdisciplinary cooperation and dialogue between the academic community and the general public. Working together with affiliated organizations around the world, we sponsor and provide support for conferences, lectures, and panels at academic conferences, as well as a spectrum of related scholarly activities. The EASLCE newsletter is published annually, the affiliated online journal Ecozon@ appears twice a year. Our organization currently has about 80 members from 19 different countries (most of them in Europe).
